Zaki Lhamo is the unique guardian of Sera Monastery of the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. He is mainly worshipped in Zaki Monastery in Lhasa and is known as "the most effective god of wealth in Tibet". His image is derived from a Han concubine. After being killed in a palace struggle, he followed a monk into Tibet and became a guardian god. He has both the efficacy of worldly guardian gods and the Han cultural background.
